For the benefit of new tenants, and as a reminder to all other tenants, we'd like to provide you with a list of some Good Neighbour Suggestions. They'll make living in your community safer, more enjoyable and will allow us to serve you more effectively.
Please be responsible and clean up after your pet, and dispose of the waste in an appropriate manner. Keep you pet under control at all times, and don't disturb your neighbours by allowing your dog to bark. Follow City bylaws and have your pet vaccinated.
Please refer to your lease and follow parking regulations. Remember ... illegally parked cars interfere with snow removal and can block fire trucks in the event of an emergency.
Please do not bring shopping carts inside GSHC buildings. Carts left in hallways can be a safety hazard, and block exit ways if there is a fire.
Please dispose of cigarette butts in a proper and considerate manner. Do not throw cigarette butts from your balcony.
Please do not feed the pigeons. They nest and roost anywhere they are fed, and create a terrible mess.
Please use the recycling bins that have been provided for that purpose. It's the environmentally friendly thing to do, and it saves the Housing Corporation waste removal dollars.
Please don't dump fridges, mattresses and furniture in or by our waste bins. They will not be taken away by our waste removal contractor, and Sudbury Housing staff has to dispose of them.
