Skating Rinks

In past years many residents have maintained skating/hockey rinks in their yard areas during the winter months.  Due to the escalating costs of water, waste water and other utilities, Greater Sudbury Housing Corporation can no longer allow this practice to continue.

 We are advising all residents not to install skating/hockey rinks on Greater Sudbury Housing Corporation property this winter.  It is unfortunate that we must take this action however, your co-operation will assist us in reducing costs. The City of Greater Sudbury maintains public skating/hockey rinks in many neighbourhoods throughout the City that tenants can access.
