The
Greater Sudbury Housing Corporation wishes to advise that
the City of Greater Sudbury Council has approved a mandate
change of the Eddie Lapierre building (1052 Belfry Street)
from Mixed Adult to Seniors Only (60+ years of age),
effective November, 2005.
PLEASE NOTE:
Residents of 1052
Belfry Street under 60 years of age will not be
affected.
Tenants under
60 years of age are no longer eligible for internal transfers to the Eddie Lapierre building.
The Greater Sudbury
Housing Corporation apologizes for any inconvenience to
under-aged tenants wishing to transfer to 1052 Belfry.
It is hoped that the change in mandate of this one
building will help address the lack of seniors only
housing in the Lasalle Blvd. area.
Mixed adult Rent
Supplement units will be increased in the Lasalle area
to offset this mandate change to 1052 Belfry.
