As part of the initial leasing
arrangement only one key will be issued to each adult
leaseholder of the unit. In multi-residential buildings
where required, a front door entry key will be issued in
addition to the unit key for a total of two keys per adult
occupant.
The issuing of all additional
keys shall be authorized in advance and requested in writing
by the leaseholder(s) through the use of a GSHC form
identified for that purpose. The name, address, phone
number, and signature of the recipient, acknowledging the
reason and responsibility of holding the additional key will
be a requirement of the issuing any additional keys. A
$10.00 deposit fee for each additional key shall apply and
must be paid before the issuing of any additional key. The
$10.00 deposit is refundable upon the additional key being
returned to GSHC.
Some of the criteria for issuing
additional unit keys will include but are not necessarily
limited to:

Chronic medical
problems
Frail elderly
Emergency medical
call system Interim medical
observation·
Special priority·
Child supervision·
Long term absences
The tenant(s) or the recipient(s)
of additional keys shall be advised that copying of front
entry and unit keys is strictly prohibited for safety and
security reasons. The issuing of all additional keys shall
be at the sole discretion of GSHC.
